Ending 2019 Strong & Focused

For me, 2019 has been an incredible year of friendship, family, recovery, and personal growth. To say that I have learned a lot about myself in the past 8 months would be quite the understatement, which is why I am more determined than ever to finish this year strong.

The second half of 2019 will be a challenging one for me as I begin work on three major projects: The 2019 Kelsey Awards at The Kelsey Theatre, The Wiz at The Ritz Theatre Company, and Into The Woods at The Grand Theater. On top of that, I will be spending the rest of the year focusing on setting myself up for success in 2020 and beyond. It’s going to be a challenge for me, which is why I have decided to take a subtle hiatus from social media.

This subtle hiatus will not only allow me to focus on my projects, but it’ll also allow me to focus on my physical fitness, my job, my friends, my family, and most importantly, my personal growth. It’s going to be a challenge, but I need to do this if I am going to finish this year strong, as I have some pretty big 2020 ambitions… to say the least… lol

I have had a lot of friends pass away over the past year, and it has, admittedly, taken a toll on me. Words cannot express how much I miss Cat Tierney. Literally everything I do, I think of her. I think of her laugh, her singing voice… everything. I miss her so much.

With the passing of Cat, and Ashton, and Jahmir, and Steve, all of whom passed away far before their time, I have realized that life is far too short to not actively search for happiness. There is no telling what tomorrow will bring… and I want to make sure I stay focused on my dreams, my goals, my passions, and on finding ways to uplift the people around me.

Before I begin my hiatus, I wanted to make sure I talked a little bit about my upcoming projects and how I’d love for you to join me on each journey…

I wanted to let you know that I am super excited to direct, produce, and host The 2019 Kelsey Awards alongside my great friend Haley Schmalbach. I am super proud and excited for people to see what my team and I put together this year. (Shout out to Vicki, Melissa, Chris, and Evan for being the best team I could ever ask  for!)

The show takes place August 17, 2019 at 7pm inside The Kelsey Theatre. Tickets for this event are now on sale and can be purchased at www.TheKelseyAwards.com. I hope to see you there!

I will continue to sporadically update my Good Vibes with Ky Facebook page just in case you need a smile every now and then.

While I am stepping away from social for a while, I still want to hear from you. I still want to do what I can to help you smile. I still want to spread as much positive energy and ‘good vibes’ as possible. With that said, please feel free to text me, call me, private message me, or email me anytime, and I will be more than happy to engage with you, learn from you, and hopefully, make you smile. 🙂

With all of that said, thank you so much for your continued kindness and support. I look forward to re-focusing and making big announcements in the near future.

Stay kind. Stay smiling. Stay YOU. ❤ See you in December, my friends.

Good Vibes,
